Shipping Policy for Props and Pots

At Props and Pots, we offer a mix of dropshipping and local store sales. Orders placed on our Shopify store (PropsandPots.com) are dropshipped from third-party suppliers, while our physical store in Marion, Ohio, carries select in-stock items.

1. Shipping Methods & Processing Times

A. Dropshipped Orders (Online Orders via Shopify)

  • Orders placed through PropsandPots.com are fulfilled by third-party suppliers and shipped directly from their warehouses.
  • Processing Time: 2–5 business days before shipment.
  • Estimated Shipping Time: 7–21 business days, depending on the supplier’s location.
  • Orders may arrive in multiple shipments if they come from different suppliers.

Important: We do not have direct control over dropshipper inventory or delays. Tracking will be provided when available.

B. Local Pickup & In-Store Purchases (Marion, Ohio Location)

  • Customers can purchase and pick up select in-stock plants and products from our store:

  • Local Pickup Time: Typically ready within 24 hours after purchase.

2. Shipping Rates & Costs

A. Dropshipping Rates (Online Orders)

  • Shipping costs vary based on the supplier, destination, and item weight.
  • The total shipping cost is calculated at checkout.

B. Free Shipping

  • Some items may qualify for free shipping (marked at checkout).
  • Orders $100+ may qualify for free shipping, depending on the supplier.

C. Local Pickup (Free)

  • Customers who purchase in-stock items at our Marion, Ohio store can pick up for free.

3. Tracking & Order Status

  • Tracking information is provided via email once the supplier ships the item.
  • Some dropshipping suppliers may take longer to provide tracking.
  • If tracking is unavailable after 10 business days, contact us at owner@propsandpots.com.

4. Delays & Shipping Issues

Props and Pots is not responsible for delays caused by:
✅ Carrier issues (USPS, FedEx, UPS, etc.)
✅ Customs delays (for international shipments)
✅ Weather or unforeseen events
✅ Supplier processing times

If a package is marked as delivered but not received, we recommend:

  1. Checking with household members or neighbors.
  2. Waiting 48 hours in case of a carrier delay.
  3. Contacting the carrier directly.

5. Lost or Damaged Packages

If your order arrives damaged or is lost in transit, you must:

  1. Report the issue within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide photos of the damage (for claims).
  3. Contact us at owner@propsandpots.com to initiate a replacement or store credit request.

Refunds for lost/damaged items are issued only if covered by the supplier’s policy.


6. International Shipping

  • Some dropshipping suppliers offer international shipping, but availability varies by product.
  • Customers are responsible for customs duties, taxes, and import fees.
  • International shipping times may exceed 30 business days.

7. Returns & Exchanges

  • Returns are subject to Props and Pots’ Return Policy.
  • Live plants are final sale unless they arrive damaged.
  • Dropshipped products must follow supplier-specific return rules.
